Journal Entry – Viva la vida
Made a journal entry with the same line. Writing this from a bus today. I’m on my way to New York City baby!
A fun thing that just happened: the intention I set for this bus ride was “We’re cruising smooth and safe”.
Moment of alignment: the bus driver just announced, “It’s going to be a smooth and safe ride.”
Same words! Man, I love these signs from the Universe.
Ok today, I’m sharing with you a personal manifestation.
I manifested a trip to Mexico!
It’s in my journal entry too. It’s been on my travel list for 4yrs now & the Universe made it happen in divine timing.
One of my teachers once said, “We have this need to control everything & know everything all the time. If you just surrender, the Universe and the environment will take care of you.”
This last year has been about that for me – surrendering at a deeper level and letting the Universe take care of me. I saw the evidence of this during this trip.
While I was on my flight back, I was reflecting on how the trip just happened. I made minimal decisions, didn’t have to plan anything, and yet I got to do everything I dreamed of!
Honestly, I’m not too fond of the research and planning part of any trip, and I always attract people who love that part. Manifesting can be fun on so many levels. Hehe
Lately, I feel like a rockstar that’s crowd surfing, as the Universe just carries me into my manifestations.
In Mexico, we visited 2 places – Mexico City and Puerto Vallarta. The latter is a resort town.
I’m sharing some moments of joy and magic with you below. It was one VIBRANT trip just how I had it in my journal!
Day 1: Late lunch as soon as we arrived in Mexico City.
Churros and hot chocolate for dinner.
Day 2: We visited the Palacio de Bella’s Art
Then walked through a local market.
Later we went to the Frida Kahlo Museum. This one was special because I’ve always admired her spirit. I also have great admiration for how self-aware she was and expressed herself through her art. It was moving to see some of her pieces in person, to see the bed from which she painted.
Frias
Frida’s famous watermelon painting! She edited it just a few days before passing by adding the words “Viva la vida“. This translates as “Long live life”.
Day 3: We visited the Teotihuacan Pyramids.
And then had lunch in a Cave at the La Gruta Restaurant.
There was guac for days!
Day 4: Enroute Puerto Vallarta! It was the best flight. I manifested this breakfast and then watched Friends as I ate it while in the clouds.
We had lunch with this amazing view!
Woke up to this every day in Puerto Vallarta.
Walked around the old town.
Did some parasailing.
Watched sunsets.
Ate delicious tacos.
And did some fun shopping. This bag is made from soda can rings!
And that’s the round-up.
Viva la vida baby!
PS. What’s your dream destination? I’d love to know!
Love,
Raashi
