Failing is just a word! No, seriously!

Failing is not bad. Absolutely not!

Have you ever told yourself that you are proud of yourself?
If not, give it a shot!

I tell myself I am proud of myself every week, if not daily.

I am proud of myself for

  • learning from my mistakes.
  • choosing growth.
  • acknowledging when I am wrong.
  • keeping my promises to myself.
  • caring about people.
  • choosing myself every day.

Last week, when I wrote the mailer to you, I felt especially proud of myself. Looking back at my journey and how far I have come made me realize that I am successful – in the sense that I accomplished everything I put my mind to.

To be honest, I never strive to be successful – I aim at living and expressing myself as my Highest Self, and I know that success is an outcome of that; a bonus.

I don’t look at success as reaching some ideal place or pinnacle.
I genuinely enjoy the journey!

I take each day as it comes and ask myself questions regarding success and failure:

  • What would I like to do today?
  • How can I be true to myself?
  • How can I make an impact?
  • How can I choose joy?

It’s natural then, that since I don’t look at success as a destination, I don’t really relate to the idea of failing either.

Sure I have failed! So many times. But my automatic response is not “Shit! I am a failure!”

My immediate response is: “Oh! I can learn from this! It will be so fun to apply what I have learned and then see the outcome!”

If you, tend to take the word “failing” very seriously, this email will instantly shift your perspective.

Let’s talk about the word “failing.” Honestly, it’s just a word! And your life is so much more than that! Your life is an epic EXPERIENCE!

You see, the meaning you attach to an experience is entirely up to you!

Failing is just a label!

If you didn’t know the word or the meaning, would you still feel like you failed?

BOOM! Feel that shift?

You know what! If you’ve failed, you have LIVED because it means you had the courage to go after what you wanted. You took that risk and you CAN take it again.

Ditch that fear of failing and remember you may have failed many times, but you have also risen. You still show up every day! I know this because if you are reading this email you care about your growth.

If you are living, you are winning! You’ve been through your entire life, through moments you thought you wouldn’t make it through and yet, you are HERE!

Here’s my secret: I approach everything with curiosity, treating each new endeavour as an exciting experiment. When you approach a task with curiosity, failing goes out the window! When you start with curiosity, it just means you want to see where it can go.

I’ve got a few questions that I love to ask myself along the way:

  • What worked?
  • How can I improve next time?
  • What aspects did I genuinely enjoy?
  • Is this something I’d like to do again?

Sure, I have a vision in mind! I have immense faith in that vision. After so many years of consciously manifesting my dreams, I know that that vision is inevitable – but I don’t get consumed by it and I don’t attach my worth to it.

I blend my vision with intuition, trust, and a healthy dose of playfulness. And you know what? This approach has a way of bringing my desired outcomes to life, often accompanied by even more magical surprises.

Here’s the thing: I firmly believe that life is meant to be FUN! So, I apply this mindset not only to my work but also to every aspect of my existence. I infuse joy and enthusiasm into my days, making the journey itself a delightful adventure. Imagine that!

So, my invitation to you today is to embrace the power of “experience” and let go of the fear of “failure.” Your life is waiting for you to make it extraordinary!
