Nut butter needs absolutely no introduction! 😎
Here’s a fact: I never buy nut butters from a store. Why?
- They are so easy to make at home
- It’s cheaper
- It takes under 10 minutes
- They taste much better! No unnecessary additives like refined oil or sugar. Just nutty goodness.
The process for all nut & seed butters is the same: Roast & blend. Simple.
INGREDIENTS:
- 200g roasted peanuts
- 2 tbsp dark cacao powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon powder (optional)
- Stevia to taste (optional)
METHOD:
- Place peanuts in a high-speed blender or small chutney grinder jar.
- Blitz in 30 second intervals. It may take anywhere between 2-5 minutes, so be patient.
- Once the peanuts breakdown and become creamy, add in the cacao power and salt (and other ingredients if using.)
- Blitz one more time. It will be liquidy & smooth.
- Transfer to an airtight container & store at room temperature. It will last on the shelf for a month.
