Customise Consistency for YOU!

Do you find yourself constantly saying:

“I need to get back on track.”
“I fell off the wagon.”
“After this week, I will start with xyz.”

The reason people find it hard to stay consistent is because of the LANGUAGE they use to describe their experience – like all of the statements above.

90% of my clients come in saying:

  • Consistency is hard for me.” or
  • “ I can never be consistent.” or
  • “I always fall off track and then find it difficult to start again.”

Words create worlds. Your words influence how you feel and therefore how you act.

Give it a shot right now and feel the instant shift in your body. Let’s do it together.

First say this out loud: “I am lazy!” – Take a moment and notice how you feel in your body. Most people feel a contraction or collapse in their body.

Now think of the last time you took action towards your goals. Get a specific memory in your mind. As you think of this, say this out loud “It is easy for me to take action towards my goals because I have done it before and so I can do it again.”

Notice how your energy instantly shifted? Most people feel expansive or open in their body when they say this.

The other reason most people can’t stay consistent is because of the idea they have in their mind about what consistency is supposed to look like.

When you see people on social media posting about how consistent they are or hear stories about what consistency is supposed to look like, you start to believe that that’s how consistency is supposed to be for you too.

NOT TRUE!

We are all different human beings, with different lives and different energy levels. Therefore what consistency looks like for a single woman and what it looks like for a mom of two with a job can be totally different. This doesn’t mean that either is less consistent – it just means that consistency looks different for them.

The truth is that the concept of consistency that society has given us limits you more than it empowers youIf you contract in your body when you think of consistencyyou have a limiting concept of consistency in your mind.

Here’s the other side of the story: consistency for the sake of being consistent can also lead to burnout. I have seen people who show up consistently for their workouts because “consistency is good” and that has led to injuries or burnout. Heck, I have been that person!

I have had clients who were consistent in their lives and still felt like they weren’t consistent because of the limiting beliefs and self-concepts in their minds. We changed that of course.

Can you imagine:

  • how easy your life would be if you knew how to customise consistency for your life and your needs.
  • how good you would feel if you could take effortless action in your life because when you think of consistency it excites you!
