An Adventure Through Possibilities

I’m back in India! I realized on my way back that while I feel excited to go on holiday, I feel excited to come back home too. I am excited about all the upcoming adventurous possibilities.

There’s no dread about getting back to work or routine.
It’s more of a “Yay! I get to do this now!”

I know a lot of people dread coming back from vacation, and there are reasons for that. Some of which you are probably familiar with, and I’m sharing the most common ones I see in my work as a Coach below.

The most common reason for not having enough possibilities could be –

that your current life just isn’t fulfilling enough. You’re just going through the daily motions of work, eat, socialize, sleep, repeat because you think that’s what you’re “supposed” to do. Maybe you’re –

  • constantly stressed about money, or you’re working 24/7 and what you really want is security and balance.
  • continuing to maintain relationships out of obligation and you crave support and connection; you crave to be understood and seen.
  • having a routine that is a constant reminder of what you are not doing or don’t have the time for. For example, you genuinely intend to start working out but you’re just so exhausted from working all the time that you just can’t get to it!
  • setting your goals aside because of a life event like marriage or motherhood and not yet fulfilling your promise of pursuing your desires.

All these factors contribute to your fulfilment.

Yet, people often go on living in those cycles thinking:

“It’s just temporary.”

“It’s just one thing.”

“This is just how it is.”

NO! Just No.

If you’ve been living in that cycle for a year, it’s not temporary.

It appears to be “just one thing” at that moment, but when you Zoom out, it’s spilling into everything.

This may be how it is right now, but this isn’t how it HAS to be. You can change it! You always have that power. OKAY? OKAY!

The other reason for that post-holiday dread is that your current environment triggers you all the time. Travel or vacation then becomes an escape. I had a Client who, when she came into Coaching, would constantly find ways to travel so she could escape her house because she had the constant feeling of “wanting to run away.” That’s a clear sign of a flight stress response.

Once we neutralized her triggers, she came into one of our last few calls saying “For the first time I don’t feel like leaving home because I feel peaceful here.” Isn’t that amazing?

Hearing those words from her made my heart expand.

Giving you the holistic picture as always, I don’t want to diss post-vacation blues. They are totally normal human feelings that are meant to be a temporary emotional state. This happens because you are transitioning from a relaxed and enjoyable time and coming back to your regular responsibilities. The contrast between the freedom and relaxation of a vacation and the return to daily adulting can lead to feelings of sadness, anxiety, and even a sense of loss.

Key point – it’s meant to be a temporary emotional state.

As you probably already know, I have built my life around the personal values of joy and freedom. I used to be anxious all the time, and even fun used to stress me out. Yep, lol! FUN used to STRESS me out.

Today, pleasure and relaxation are infused into my life. I thoroughly enjoy the mundane too.

Therefore, I ask you this: What if you didn’t have to leave relaxation and enjoyment just for vacation? What if it could become your way of life?

What if your life didn’t feel like an obligation? What if your life felt like freedom?

Like this client:

What if YOU could feel at peace in your life no matter what the external circumstances? Because honestly, as per one of the Laws of the Universe, if you feel at peace within, your environment will reflect it. You will manifest it!

This client says it so well!

What if post-vacation blues didn’t feel like a life crisis because you can manage your emotions with love?

Wouldn’t that be wonderful ?

It’s something to think about. I’m giving you this to think about because I really don’t want you to settle in life.

I want you to explore the beautiful possibilities-

that exist because life is really just that – an adventure through possibilities!

Also on a separate note: You can now sign up for Q&A sessions. Your questions can be specific to your experience or anything that you’re facing right now in terms of blocks, barriers or limits in your growth or you manifestation journey. I will review your questions, collate them and answer them.  So, stay tuned for more details.

Have a beautiful week ahead!

Love,
Raashi
