I can’t believe this is my life, yet I CAN!

As I write this, it’s a normal day & I’m sitting on my couch drinking a cafe mocha – because I couldn’t decide between Hot Chocolate and coffee so I decided to believe that I can have both! 😂

I received a huge sum of money today. I will be making a big payment later today. This is still a normal day! Big sums of money that used to scare me, are now just normal daily transactions!!
How epic is that?

When I say huge & big payments – I mean for Raashi from a few years ago. For Raashi today, they are just regular transactions. Of course, I feel grateful and expansive when I receive and make payments at this level; at the same time, they feel neutral because it’s obvious this is my life today. It’s obvious because I’ve done the inner work of rewiring my belief system and embodying this version of me already. I was already living in this frequency and so now that it is a reality, it feels natural to my nervous system.

But it wasn’t always like this. The money I made today, JUST TODAY, used to be my monthly salary 4 years ago. At that point, I wouldn’t be left with any money at the end of the month.

Just 2.5 years ago, when I started my business in April 2020 I was in debt. Let me tell you what happened so it can blow your mind, and make you believe that something like this is possible for you too.

In October 2018, I quit my job. I quit it to move cities and move in with my then boyfriend. I had just gotten my Nutrition Certification and I was planning on finding clients while my ex and I enjoyed our new life together. Well, that didn’t work out. He broke up with me while I was on my notice period. My entire world fell apart. I had just quit my job, I had no place to stay and I didn’t even know which city I was going to live in or how I was going to make it through.

I remember asking myself at this point “Raashi, are you going to give up on helping people and pursuing your dreams just because of this? Are you going to run back and get a job that you don’t even like just for the sake of security?” The answer was “HELL NO!”

The Universe sent me a beautifully aligned opportunity just then. In December 2018 I started consulting with a cafe to develop their menu and recipes. I really enjoyed it! I had always dreamed of doing something like this in my 40s and I was grateful it showed up in my 30s.

While I was consulting, I had a few nutrition clients as well. Through my work with these clients, I started feeling the need to go deeper. I felt like Nutrition hadn’t even scratched the surface of what my true purpose was. I was comfortable and happy in this life for a while though. I wasn’t really looking at Coaching as my business.

In December 2019, I remember feeling stuck and frustrated. Everything in life seemed fine. Yes, I enjoyed consulting, but it wasn’t fulfilling me. I had some nutrition clients, but no consistent income from there. I was also feeling the need to start digging for my deeper purpose. The word PURPOSE really came through for me then. I wanted to make a bigger difference.

That’s when I decided to work with my first Coach. I invested $4,500 total in that group Coaching program. I still remember being pretty shocked at the amount – it was wayyyyy more than I expected it to be. I trusted my intuition though. I had a burning desire and I trusted this Coach was sent to me by the Universe to help me go deeper with my purpose.

I decided to pay the $4500 in instalments. The money I was getting from consulting, would cover the monthly instalments. Pretty cool right? WAIT FOR IT! Next came the tests from the Universe.

The cafe I was working for didn’t pay me in Jan & Feb 2020. Then Covid hit in March and we went into lockdown. Multiple follow-ups for the payments turned out to be futile. I had also just moved into an apartment, which I had all to myself, in Mumbai. I had that rent to pay! I was counting on my consulting fees to pay for it.

I paid my business Coach with my savings and my credit card. In April I was in debt. In hindsight, I realised that the Universe took away everything that was making me comfortable so I would stop half-assing my business and really DO WHAT I AM MEANT TO DO AND WHAT I BELIEVE IN!

All of April, I kept pitching my Coaching offer to clients. I launched a program that no one signed up for. I received 60 nos before I got my first “Yes.”. The period, when I didn’t know where the money was going to come from, was SCARY. You know what got me through? My daily mindset and embodiment work.

During that time I applied everything I knew about mindset and manifesting. I worked on my money beliefs. I cultivated faith. I loved myself. I surrendered to the Universe. And it all finally came together when I signed my 1st client in May 2020.

I paid off my debt and rent in July 2020. After that, there has been no looking back. I quadrupled my monthly business income in July. I consistently earned that amount every month for a year. Then in May 2021, I made a dream figure I was manifesting. This financial year, I doubled my annual income.

I trust that every single money goal I set for myself is going to manifest just as it has since I started my business. I deeply believe in this work, myself and this Universe because I have seen the evidence and magic in my own life.

Here are the main things that have got me where I can believe this is my life now-

Constantly reviewing and rewiring my belief system.
Building a solid relationship with money.
Understanding the energy of money.
An abundance mindset.
Aligning my money goals to my values and vision.
Embodiment work – living in the frequency of my desires.
Following my intuition.

I buy myself things without any guilt or fear. I have an investment portfolio I am proud of. I understand money and LOVE it.
